Our client is a Vietnam-based technology company specializing in GIS, mapping, and logistics solutions. They develop web-based systems for tracking, route optimization, and location-based services.

Responsibilities

Test planning & execution Lead and execute all testing activities, including automated (≈70%) and manual (≈30%) testing. Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing. Continuously refine and optimize automation frameworks to align with evolving project requirements. Develop, review, and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports. Collaboration & quality assurance Work closely with developers (frontend/backend) and offshore teams to understand requirements, assess testability, and ensure coverage. Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, identify risks, and propose improvements to functionality and user experience. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins). Participate in root-cause analysis and contribute to defect triage and resolution. Support continuous improvement of QA practices and frameworks. Mentorship & leadership Mentor and guide junior testers in automation best practices and tool adoption. Drive quality standards, automation efficiency, and testing excellence across the team.

Requirements

Must-have skills & experience Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) — required. 3+ years of experience in automation testing and 4–5 years total in QA/QC. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium. Proficiency in at least one programming language: JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins). Strong understanding of API testing (Postman, Swagger, SoapUI). Good working knowledge of Git workflows and version control. Deep understanding of test automation principles, patterns, and best practices. Experience with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, and test management tools (Jira, YouTrack, TestRail). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Nice-to-have Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and cloud-based testing tools (e.g., LambdaTest). Experience working in distributed teams across multiple time zones. Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest QA/DevOps/CI/CD technologies.
