Senior Business Analyst & Manual Testing

About
Our client is looking for a Business Analyst & Manual Testing professional who can take strong ownership of requirement clarification, documentation, and manual QA activities within software delivery projects. This role is well-suited for someone who is comfortable working closely with stakeholders, analyzing business needs, preparing clear requirement documents, and validating web and mobile applications through structured manual testing.
Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirement Clarification Engage with European clients and business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and align business needs, project scope, priorities, feasibility, and expected outcomes. Coordinate with clients, project managers, developers, and internal teams to ensure requirements, business logic, and expected system behaviors are clearly understood. Translate business requirements into clear documentation, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and testable scenarios for development and testing. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design materials to identify gaps, ambiguities, risks, or inconsistencies, and provide timely clarification or feedback. Manual Testing & Quality Assurance Plan, estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities according to project scope, release schedule, and delivery priorities. Develop comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, end-to-end scenarios, positive scenarios, negative scenarios, edge cases, and user error scenarios. Execute manual testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, defect retesting, and UAT support across web, iOS, Android, and browser-based applications. Track defects, testing results, open issues, product quality status, and root-cause findings; communicate quality updates clearly to project managers and relevant stakeholders. Continuous Improvement & Collaboration Support product and process improvement by enhancing test coverage, user experience, BA/QA practices, internal workflows, and staying updated with relevant tools and methodologies.
Requirements
Business Analysis Experience At least 4 years of Business Analyst experience in software development projects. Strong experience in requirement gathering, requirement analysis, stakeholder communication, business documentation, user flow creation, and acceptance criteria definition. Ability to document business and technical requirements clearly. Ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze problems, and coordinate with related teams for resolution. Manual QA & Testing Experience Hands-on Manual QA experience, including test planning, test case design, functional testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, defect reporting, defect verification, and UAT support. Good understanding of QA methodologies, testing principles, software testing life cycle, and quality assurance processes. Experience testing web applications, iOS applications, Android applications, and browser-based systems. Working knowledge of SQL for data checking, test validation, or testing support. Tools & Working Methodology Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Familiarity with Jira, Zephyr, or similar project tracking and test management tools. Communication & Stakeholder Management Excellent English communication skills, especially when working directly with European clients or international stakeholders. Strong listening, clarification, negotiation, persuasion, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills. Personal Attributes Good prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks or projects at the same time. Self-driven, well-organized, and able to manage tasks effectively with a strong sense of ownership. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical working experience.
