Responsibilities:
As a Backend Engineer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and deploy backend services focusing on scalability, high availability, and low latency.
  • Collaborate with teams to define and document requirements while identifying potential solutions using Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Solve complex technical and business problems while learning new technologies and frameworks.
  • Take full responsibility for the features you own, from design to deployment.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of products, including testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:

  • A pragmatic mindset with outstanding problem-solving ability.
  • A few years of experience in software development using general-purpose programming languages.
  • Strong skills in database and schema design for large-scale applications.
  • Adaptable and ready for continuous change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative attitude and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Good English skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in distributed systems and microservices architecture using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, etc.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Ansible, Packer, Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong English listening and speaking skills.
  • Experience in banking and financial domains.
