Responsibilities:
As a Backend Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and deploy backend services focusing on scalability, high availability, and low latency.
- Collaborate with teams to define and document requirements while identifying potential solutions using Agile delivery frameworks.
- Solve complex technical and business problems while learning new technologies and frameworks.
- Take full responsibility for the features you own, from design to deployment.
- Manage the full lifecycle of products, including testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Must-Have Skills:
- A pragmatic mindset with outstanding problem-solving ability.
- A few years of experience in software development using general-purpose programming languages.
- Strong skills in database and schema design for large-scale applications.
- Adaptable and ready for continuous change in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative attitude and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Good English skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in distributed systems and microservices architecture using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka, Redis, etc.
- Familiarity with AWS, Ansible, Packer, Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Strong English listening and speaking skills.
- Experience in banking and financial domains.
