- Develop, design, and execute manual test cases to ensure the software adheres to required standards and functionality.
- Conduct thorough testing activities, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to transform specifications and design documents into detailed test plans, comprising test cases and scenarios.
- Evaluate and enhance test cases written by team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to prepare the necessary data, infrastructure, and environments required for testing activities.
- Support the user acceptance testing (UAT) phase, guiding end users and addressing their feedback.
- Build tools for automated regression testing and identify methodologies to improve the testing process.
- Proactively contribute ideas to refine the testing workflow and enhance overall product quality.
- Research and propose tools or methods to improve the software testing lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in manual testing, specifically for web and client-server applications.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.
- Hands-on experience using test management tools such as Jira or Testrail.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and distributed teams.
- Knowledge of cross-browser and mobile device testing.
